A secure, distributed record of all the transactions between users stored chronologically in the form of linked blocks. Each block contains a certain number of transactions and is linked to the previous block by a cryptographic signture. The links between blocks are what make the transactions secure and ensure completeness (hence the name blockchain). All cryptocurrencies use blockchain technology, as it guarantees neutrality, transparency, privacy and trustworthiness.
