Public entities authorized by law to organize a public transit service include municipal bodies, intermunicipal transit bodies, the Agence métropolitaine de transport and the transit authorities of Laval, Lévis, Longueuil, Montréal, Outaouais, Québec, Saguenay, Sherbrooke and Trois-Rivières.
