Dropshipping
Sellers that use dropshipping generally do not have any merchandise, but rather act as an intermediary between the buyer and the supplier. The buyer orders an item from the seller, who in turn orders it from the supplier. The supplier then ships the item to the buyer in accordance with the seller's instructions.
Such sellers may have a few items in stock in a store or showroom, but most simply have a printed catalogue or website, or advertise on digital platforms.
