A group of persons who have agreed in writing to accept barter units in exchange for supplies of property or services made between members of the group.

An administrator must be appointed by the barter exchange network to administer, maintain or operate the system of members' accounts. Barter units are credited to those accounts as full or partial consideration for supplies of property or services made in barter transactions between members of the group.
