Telephone service
A telecommunications service that meets the following conditions:
- 9-1-1 can be dialed to directly or indirectly reach a 9-1-1 emergency centre providing services in Québec.
- The telecommunications service is provided in the territory of a municipality by a telecommunications service provider.

A telecommunications service is considered to be provided in the territory of a municipality if the telephone number assigned to the client for the use of the service has a Québec area code.
