Payment Methods
When completing a transaction, you must select the payment method in your WEB-SRM-compatible certified sales recording system (SRS). For closing receipt (“Reçu de fermeture”) transactions, the payment or refund method must be shown on the document produced.
Depending on the SRS used, the possible payment methods are:
- cash;
- coupon;
- credit card;
- debit card;
- cheque;
- prepaid card or gift certificate;
- loyalty program;
- cryptocurrency (e.g. Bitcoin);
- digital wallet (e.g. PayPal);
- funds transfer;
- mixed payment (if multiple payment methods are used);
- charged to account (select this payment method if a transaction is completed before receiving payment);
- unknown (use this payment method only if you have a bar permit and the closing receipt must be produced before the payment method is known);
- other (select this payment method if the method used is not included in the list of options);
- no payment (select this payment method when a closing receipt is produced, but no payment is received; for example, when you offer a free item or when the customer left without paying).
Your SRS may not offer all of these payment options.
