Creating One or More User Accounts for Each SRS
Some sales recording systems (SRSs) can be used by multiple users.
In the remunerated passenger transportation sector, each operator and each employee must have their own user account. As the operator, you are responsible for creating your employees' accounts.
In the restaurant sector, the operator or the person concerned by mandatory billing measures can create a single user account that will be used by them and their employees, or they can create their own account plus a personal account for each employee.
Each user account can be used to produce personalized bills. The user's name, the operator's or person concerned's name and the operator's or person concerned's GST and QST registration numbers are required to create an account.
- Follow the SRS developer's instructions to create a user account.
- If a person uses a personal identification number (PIN), it does not necessarily mean that they have a personal user account.
Validating tax registration numbers
To validate your GST and QST registration numbers in the SRS, you must send us a validation request via your SRS for each user account associated with the system. The user account will be created if the numbers are valid. If the numbers are not valid, the user account will still be created but error messages will display in the SRS. You must therefore ensure that the numbers are valid because they will appear on your bills.
