How to Request an Attestation de Revenu Québec
To request an Attestation de Revenu Québec for a business online, you must use My Account for businesses.
An Attestation that you can download and print will be issued immediately if the business meets the following requirements:
- It has filed the returns and reports required under Québec tax laws.
- It does not have any overdue account with the Minister of Revenue of Québec in respect of a tax law or, if it does, it has reached a payment agreement and observes it, or the collection of its debts has been legally suspended.
To operate in Québec, employment agencies and temporary foreign worker recruitment agencies must have a valid licence issued by the Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail according to certain regulatory requirements (this page is available in French only). To obtain this licence, an agency must hold an Attestation de Revenu Québec that is valid at all times.
For agencies located outside Québec that are not registered with Revenu Québec and are not required to be, a request for an Attestation must be sent by Write to us by secure email.

Viewing and renewing through our online services
You can use My Account to view, download or print any Attestation de Revenu Québec issued to the business or any refusal to issue an Attestation in the three years before you use the service for the first time.
You can also use My Account to sign the business up for Attestation de Revenu Québec renewal. That way, you can have a new Attestation automatically deposited in the business's file a few days before the current one expires. The business must have a valid Attestation when you sign up and meet the conditions for a new one to be issued.
You can use the services on behalf of the business only if you have a general power of attorney.
