Direct Deposit of Refunds – Businesses
If your business has an account at a financial institution with an establishment in Canada, we can deposit any refund to which it may be entitled under the laws administered by Revenu Québec into that account.
Requesting direct deposit
There are two ways to request direct deposit for the business:
- Use My Account for businesses or My Account for professional representatives.
- Complete form LM-2-V, Request for Direct Deposit: Individuals in Business, Partnerships, Corporations and Other Legal Entities.
Direct deposit:
- enables you to obtain refunds more quickly
- eliminates the risk of cheques being lost or stolen
- is useful in case of illness or absence from work
- ensures that you receive any amount owed to you in a timely manner (even in the event of a postal strike)
- saves you time and money

Since fall 2025, businesses that are registered for My Account for businesses have received most of their communications online. The next time the person in charge of using online services for a business logs in to My Account, they must accept the new conditions for use.
Businesses can change their communication preferences in My Account for businesses. The shift will help us provide faster, more secure, convenient and environmentally friendly services.
