Weekly Remittances
If your pay periods are every two weeks or twice a month but your remittance frequency is weekly, you can apply to make your remittances only for the periods in which you pay remuneration.
You cannot apply to make remittances this way if you made an election to change your remittance frequency.
To apply to make remittances based on pay periods, complete and send us form TPZ-1015.R.14.3D-V, Application to Make Remittances of Source Deductions and Employer Contributions Based on Pay Periods.
You will no longer have to file a remittance form for periods in which you do not pay remuneration. Even if you apply to make your remittances based on pay periods, your remittance frequency continues to be weekly. If you pay remuneration in a pay period for which you did not receive a remittance form, you must get a form in order to make the associated remittance by the 3rd business day after the last day of the period.
For the following calendar year, we will automatically renew your application based on your payroll dates for the previous year. At the end of the year, we will send you the Notice of Renewal of Payroll Dates (form LMU-5.3-V) with your payroll dates for the coming year. These dates are based on the dates you provided to us for the current year. If the payroll dates we determine for the coming year are not accurate, correct them on form LMU-5.3-V and return the form to us.
