End of Life for Sales Recording Modules

As of August 19, 2025, most SRMs will stop working for security reasons.

Note

If you're still using an SRM in your restaurant establishment, you may be affected by the planned SRM end of life.

We suggest shifting to the WEB-SRM in your restaurant establishment as of now.

End of note

The SRMs affected by this end of life will still be able to save and print bills. However, some touchscreen functions will no longer work, such as:

producing periodic sales summaries
making backup copies of data
partially copying data

Also effective as of the date above, when an SRM is cut off from its power supply (e.g. by turning it off or a power outage), you'll no longer be able to use it.

Backup copies

If you request an extension to have a WEB-SRM-compatible certified SRS installed and you plan to continue using one or more SRMs in your restaurant establishment on August 19, 2025, we recommend making a backup copy of your data before that date. You must keep the data in a safe place with the establishment's other records for six years after the last year concerned.

Note

You cannot use your SRMs for accounting purposes because most SRMs will stop working in August 2025.
