A sales recording system (SRS) developed to communicate with the WEB-SRM in the restaurant and remunerated passenger transportation sectors must be certified. Certification ensures that the SRS is compatible with the WEB-SRM, which is a cloud solution available through online services.

To have your SRS certified, you must:

1. be registered as a Revenu Québec partner
2. read Certification Process (SW-79-V)

3. access My Account for partners to add resource people we are authorized to communicate with and register the product you want certified 

   Important

   When you register your product, you must list the features to be certified. The features are defined in Guide for Adapting an SRS (SW-73-V). Follow this document closely, as the test cases you must carry out to certify your product are generated based on the features you chose when registering your product.

4. adapt the SRS as described in guide SW-73-V and the Guide for Adapting an SRS: Examples of transactional documents (SW-73.B-V)
5. carry out all the test cases on your personalized list (they are described in Test Cases for SRS Developers (SW-77-V) and in Test Cases for SRS Developers: Proof of Compliance (SW-78-V)) in the development environment
6. carry out all the test cases on your personalized list (they are described in document SW-77-V) in the test environment
7. submit a request for certification in My Account for partners, as described in guide SW-79-V
8. adapt your product based on the analysis of the test cases
9. carry out additional tests if necessary
10. demonstrate how your product works during a video call with us

Once all the required test cases have been successfully completed and the demonstration results are correct, we will email you confirmation that the version of your product meets our specifications. We will then add the name, version and specifications of your product(s) to our list of certified SRSs that work with the WEB-SRM in the restaurant and remunerated passenger transportation sectors.

Once an SRS has been certified, we allow later versions of it to be used.

However, you must get a new certification number for each subsequent version that introduces uncertified changes, unless the only change was to add or remove a payment method.
