Collection Notices
Collection notices show your debt to Revenu Québec from one or more of the following:
- personal income tax
- corporation income tax
- source deductions and employer contributions
- QST and GST/HST
- child assistance overpayments
What's included in the debt?
The debt shown on a collection notice includes processing fees and interest, which compounds daily at the rate set by law until the debt is paid in full. The amount may also include penalties.
A statement of account outlining the components of your debt is enclosed with a collection notice. For more information, see Understanding Tax Debt Statements of Account.
