Table of Rates – International Fuel Tax Agreement – IFTA
CAR-512-V

This document provides specific information on the tax rates applicable to fuel in a jurisdiction that is a party to the International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA).

Note
NoteNew tax rates for all fuel types for New Jersey

New Jersey changed the rates that apply to all fuel types after the official IFTA, Inc. table for the second quarter of 2022 was published. Do not use the rates in the IFTA, Inc. table to calculate the amount of tax payable in the 2022-06 version of the Quarterly Fuel Tax Return (form CAZ-510-V).

The tables in this document (CAR-512-V) have been updated to reflect the rate changes for New Jersey, and the rates for gasoline and fuel oil (diesel) have been updated in the fillable version of form CAZ-510-V.
