To apply for an advance payment of the tax credit for the treatment of infertility, you must:

• complete the following forms and mail them to us:
  • Tax Credit for the Treatment of Infertility: Application for an Advance Payment (TP-1029.8.66.2A-V)
  • Certificate Respecting the Treatment of Infertility (TP-1029.8.66.2M-V), if you are claiming travel and lodging expenses because there is no centre for assisted procreation in Québec within 200 kilometres of where the person undergoing the treatment for which the expenses were paid lives and you have not already filed this form
• enclose copies of documents proving that you paid expenses in respect of in vitro fertilization treatments for which you are applying for an advance payment

Application deadline

We must receive the forms and supporting documents by December 1, 2025.

Direct deposit

You must be registered for direct deposit.

If you are already registered for direct deposit in order to receive income tax refunds, you are automatically registered to receive advance payments and do not need to register again.
