Filing RL Slips and the RL-1 Summary Using Paper Forms We Provide
RL slips
To file RL slips using the paper forms we provide, you have to order the slips by using the Ordering Forms and Publications online service or by contacting us. You must mail us copy 1 of each completed RL slip.
If you file more than 5 RL slips of the same type (other than RL-13 slips), or more than 50 RL-24 slips for a calendar year, you must send them to us online. See Methods for Filing RL Slips and Summaries for more information.
RL-1 summary
To file the RL-1 summary (RLZ-1.S-V, Summary of Source Deductions and Employer Contributions) on paper, you must either:
- file the summary we mail to you each year; or
- order a copy of the summary using the Ordering Forms and Publications online service or by contacting us.
