You can obtain authorization for your software, which confirms that it can be used to print the Trust Income Tax Return (form TP-646-V) to be filed by mail or in person at one of our offices.

Authorization process

To obtain authorization, you must:

1. register as a partner of Revenu Québec;
2. access My Account for partners to add resource people and add the products that you intend to develop or adapt;
3. follow the steps for authorization by consulting the guide Requirements for Computer-Generated Forms: Trusts (IN-416-V);
4. submit the test-case results to us;
5. make adjustments to the product further to our test-case analysis (if applicable);
6. provide us with the hardware and documentation required to complete customized follow-up test cases;
7. carry out supplemental test cases (if required).

Once the test-case results are satisfactory, we add your product to the list of authorized software on our website, and we send you an email confirming that your software meets Revenu Québec's requirements.
