Certificate of Compliance with Energy and Environmental Standards – RénoVert Tax Credit

This form must be completed by any contractor (an individual, a partnership or a corporation with an establishment in Québec) who has carried out renovation work under a contract entered into with an individual and who is required to provide that individual with a certificate confirming that the work complies with recognized energy and environmental standards.
If the renovation contract does not exclusively cover recognized eco-friendly renovation work, the contractor must provide a cost breakdown in Part 5 of form TP-1029.RV.A-V by:
- on line 1, entering the total cost of goods and services (including taxes) under the contract;
- on line 2, entering the total cost of the goods and services (including taxes) for work not included in the list of eco-friendly renovation work; and
- on line 3, subtracting line 2 from line 1 to obtain the total cost of goods and services (including taxes) for work included in the list of recognized eco-friendly work.
