Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Click Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) to see whether the measures adopted by Revenu Québec apply to the information on this page.

You do not have to claim the credit in your income tax return. We will calculate the credit for you, but if you prefer, you can calculate it yourself by completing form TP-1029.SA-V, Senior Assistance Tax Credit.

Splitting the credit

If your spouse on December 31, 2020, is also an eligible individual, you can split the credit with him or her. To do so, one of you must complete form TP-1029.SA-V and enclose it with their income tax return. However, both of you must sign the form.

Important

To receive the credit, you (and your spouse on December 31, 2020, if applicable) must file an income tax return.
