Making Payments Online Through Financial Institutions or Payment Service Providers
You can make payments online through your financial institution or payment service provider, with or without a payment code or reference number.
Regardless of how you pay, your payment is considered to be received on the date it is received at one of our offices or the date it is processed by a financial institution for remittance to the Minister of Revenue of Québec. To avoid interest and penalties, make sure you account for processing by your financial institution.
Paying with a payment code
You can use the payment code we provided to make a payment online through a participating financial institution or payment service provider.
To make the payment:
- Log in to your financial institution or payment service provider.
- Add “Revenu Québec – Code de paiement” as a bill in the online payment service or government remittances section, depending on the type of payment.
- Select “Revenu Québec – Code de paiement,” enter your 20-digit payment code and make the payment.
