Making Payments Online Through Financial Institutions or Payment Service Providers
You can make payments online through your financial institution or payment service provider, with or without a payment code or reference number.
Paying with a payment code
You can use the payment code we provided to make a payment online through a participating financial institution or payment service provider.
To make the payment:
- Log in to your financial institution or payment service provider.
- Add “Revenu Québec – Code de paiement” as a bill in the online payment service or government remittances section, depending on the type of payment.
- Select “Revenu Québec – Code de paiement,” enter your 20-digit payment code and make the payment.

Paying without a payment code
Individuals
You can pay a balance due, make support payments or make instalment payments on your financial institution's website. To pay a balance due or make instalment payments, you must enter your social insurance number.
If you pay from a business account, you can only make instalment payments or support payments. To pay a balance due, you must pay with a payment code or from an individual's account.

Paying with a reference number
If we provided you with a nine-digit reference number when you filed your return using our online services, you can make your payment on the website of a participating financial institution.
To make the payment:
- go to your financial institution's website;
- in your account, select “Revenu Québec – Services Clic Revenu” as the payee;
- enter your ten-digit identification number, followed by your nine-digit reference number.
