Application Programming Interface (API) Used to Validate a QST Registration Number

To validate a business's QST registration number using an application programming interface (API). The service provides the following information:

| Users | Businesses, individuals in business, corporations and suppliers outside Québec |
| Required information | The registration number (ten digits followed by the letters TQ and four more digits). |
| Note |
If the QST registration number you wish to validate has only nine digits, does not include the letters TQ and is identical to the GST/HST registration number, the business is a selected listed financial institution. Revenu Québec has mandated the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to administer the QST collected by such businesses. To validate such a number, call the CRA at 1 800 959-7775. |
