Fees
Current fees
The Regulation respecting the application of the Unclaimed Property Act, made by Order in Council 584-2015 dated June 30, 2015, provides that fees are to be charged for services rendered in the provisional administration of unclaimed property and liquidation of unclaimed successions.
Fees are based on the cost of the services rendered and are subject to goods and services tax and the Québec sales tax. They are indexed to the cost of living each year, with the next indexation scheduled for January 1, 2024.

Fees (prior periods)
The Regulation respecting the application of the Public Curator Act provides that fees are to be charged for services rendered in the provisional administration of unclaimed property.
Fees are based on the cost of the services rendered. They were indexed to the cost of living on April 1 of each year. The goods and services tax and the Québec sales tax apply to these fees.
