Statement of Account
In January or February of each year, we mail out statements of account that show all of the transactions made in your support file from January 1 to December 31 of the previous year. You can also view the statement in My Account for individuals.
Be sure to keep a copy of your annual statement of account because you might need it if you are required to report support payments (whether you made them or received them) in your federal or provincial income tax return. The statement serves as proof of the support amounts paid or received. For more information, see Tax Treatment of Support Payments.
If no transactions were made in your account in a given year, you will not receive an account statement for that year.
Remember: a statement of account is not an invoice. It only shows the transactions made in your account during a given period.
You can request a statement of account for support payments for a given year or period using the online service in My Account for individuals.
