Beginning in 2013, tax preparers who complete more than 10 personal or corporation income tax returns will be required to file those returns online with Revenu Québec. The requirement does not apply to trust returns. Tax preparers who do not comply with the new requirement may be charged a penalty. This new measure is consistent with a similar measure introduced by the Canada Revenue Agency.

The measure applies to individuals, corporations and partnerships that accept payment to complete personal and corporation income tax returns. The returns can be filed using one of Revenu Québec's online filing services.
