Restaurateurs now have access to two new publications available on our website: Package Deals (IN-582.2-V) and Group Events (IN-582.1-V). The publications provide information on how the tax measures in the restaurant sector apply to package deals and group events offered in restaurant establishments.

We would like to remind you that billing is now mandatory across Québec in all restaurant establishments subject to the tax measures. As of November 1, 2011, all restaurant establishments that are subject to the measures and that are QST registrants will have to provide their clients with bills produced by a sales recording module (SRM).
