The Minister of Finance of Québec announced in her economic statement of January 14, 2009, the implementation of a new refundable tax credit for home improvement and renovation.

This tax credit of up to $2,500 is offered for 2009 to homeowners who have home improvement and renovation work done on their principal residence.
