As of the 2013 taxation year, tax preparers can no longer send batch transmissions of personal income tax returns via NetFile Québec. Therefore, tax preparers will be able to transmit only one personal income tax return at a time using their software. An acceptance or rejection message will be sent for each transmitted income tax return. If a tax preparer receives a rejection message, he or she can refer to guide SW-223.CE-V, Error Codes Related to Online Filing: Individuals, to identify the cause of the problem.

It is possible that certain developers may have programmed their software to give the impression that returns are being sent as batch transmissions. Income tax returns transmitted using such software are still received one at a time by Revenu Québec.
