As of the 2012 taxation year, you no longer need to enclose RL slips, receipts and other supporting documents with your income tax return, unless we indicate otherwise. This new rule applies regardless of whether you file your return using software or our paper forms. Moreover, you do not have to send us your federal information slips, except for those that pertain to income you earned outside Québec.

You must nevertheless keep all your supporting documents in case we ask for them at a later date.
