The Attestation de Revenu Québec will be required for construction contracts awarded by municipal bodies

As of January 1, 2012, contractors that wish to conclude a construction contract for $25,000 or more with a municipal body are required to hold an Attestation de Revenu Québec (certificate from Revenu Québec).

Subcontractors that conclude a construction contract for $25,000 or more with a contractor that has also concluded a contract for $25,000 or more with a municipal body are also required to hold a certificate from Revenu Québec.

To obtain an Attestation de Revenu Québec, businesses must apply online using our Clic Revenu – Businesses services. Businesses that wish to obtain a certificate quickly, but that cannot access our online services because their clicSÉQUR user code has not yet been activated, can contact us at:

  • 418 577-0444, if calling from the Québec City area, or
