We make it a snap to file your GST/HST and QST returns!
If you operate a taxi business in Québec, did you know that you must register for the GST/HST and QST and file a return for each reporting period you were assigned? This applies even if the taxes were collected on your behalf by a transportation system operator under agreement (such as Uber or Eva).
To better meet your needs, we have made the following enhancements to our online service for reporting GST/HST and QST:
- If you are a driver who provides remunerated passenger transportation and you are related to a transportation system operator under agreement, you can now view the amounts that the system operator remitted to us on your behalf. This makes it easier to calculate the GST/HST and QST amounts to remit or the refund you can claim.
- If you operate a taxi business, you can now file your GST/HST and QST returns in My Account for individuals, My Account for businesses or My Account for professional representatives. However, only My Account for businesses lets you see your entire tax file (previous returns and account statements).
File on time!
Set up alerts in My Account for businesses so you know to file your GST/HST and QST returns on time. You'll receive a reminder email shortly before the filing deadline. Sign up and simplify your life!
