Support-payment collection program

Helping Children Since 1995!

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the support-payment collection program. It was on December 1, 1995, that Revenu Québec began processing support payment judgments under the Act to facilitate the payment of support, which was passed by the National Assembly on May 11, 1995.

The program was created to ensure that children and their custodial parents receive regular financial support. It has been a resounding success, growing quickly and earning renown for the quality of its services and its ability to ensure support payments are made on time.

In tune with the changing needs of its clients, Revenu Québec updates its website constantly and has made specific improvements to highlight and enhance access to support payment information. See Support Payments for useful information and answers to your questions. In addition, our online services are there to help you file certain applications and manage your support payments file.

Revenu Québec's support-payment collection program sets the standard. In fact, our program has even been used as model to improve a similar program in France.

Here's to the support-payment collection program turning 25!
