Transfer of Some CSPQ Activities to Revenu Québec Deferred
Due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic and the resulting health crisis, the Québec government has announced that the dissolution of the Centre de services partagés du Québec (CSPQ) as well as the creation of the Centre d'acquisitions gouvernementales and Infrastructures technologiques Québec are postponed.
As a result, the government has postponed the transfer of some CSPQ services to Revenu Québec's mass processing centre, initially planned for June 1, 2020. The deferral will allow the government to minimize the uncertainty and adjustments that come with any structural change in order to focus on its broader support efforts.
The new transfer date will be announced once the health crisis is over.
Once the transfer takes place, our organization will be responsible for providing all government entities with the following services formerly provided by the CSPQ: digitization services, messenger services, storage services, mail services, printing and insert services as well as document management and conservation services. In recent years, our mass processing centre has demonstrated more than once that it has the capacity and expertise to take on this responsibility.
Rest assured that we are working in close collaboration with the CSPQ to ensure a harmonious transition for all concerned.
