Transfer of Certain CSPQ Activities to Revenu Québec as of June 1, 2020

The bill providing for the transfer of certain Centre de services partagés du Québec (CSPQ) services to the Revenu Québec mass processing centre was passed by the National Assembly on February 20, 2020. The transfer will take effect on June 1, 2020.

The law's main objective is to dissolve the CSPQ while creating two new organizations: the Centre d'acquisitions gouvernementales and Infrastructures technologiques Québec. Some services will also be transferred to Revenu Québec, which will be responsible for providing all government entities with the following services formerly provided by the CSPQ: digitization services, messenger services, storage services, mail services, printing and insert services as well as document management and conservation services. In recent years, our mass processing centre has demonstrated more than once that it has the capacity and expertise to take on this responsibility.

Rest assured that we are working in close collaboration with the CSPQ to ensure a harmonious transition for all concerned.

More information will be made available soon. In the meantime, you can consult the press release (in French only) and Bill 37.
