Saving Up for a Child's Education Is Easier Than You Think
Did you know that there is a tax measure that can help families save up for their children's post-secondary education? It is called the Québec education savings incentive (QESI).
The QESI is a refundable tax credit paid directly into a registered education savings plan (RESP). You could receive up to $250 per year.
Regardless of your relationship to a given child, you can apply to contribute to an RESP and receive the QESI. You can do so either at your financial institution or with an RESP provider that offers the QESI.
Learn more about the advantages of the QESI by visiting our website.
Education Savings Week runs November 15–21, 2015!
