Disability Supports Deduction
If you have a disability, you can reduce the income tax you have to pay by deducting from your total income any disability supports expenses you paid in the year, provided the goods and services you acquired enabled you to do any of the following:
- carry out employment duties
- actively carry on a business
- do research for which you received a grant
- attend a designated educational institution or a secondary school
