Special rules pertaining to remittances and filing the RL-1 summary (RLZ-1.S-V or RLZ-1.ST-V) apply in the following situations:

• an employer succeeds another employer;
• an employer amalgamates with another corporation;
• an employer winds up a subsidiary;
• an employer stops operating its business;
• an employer is an employer in the restaurant, bar or hotel sector
