Reunion Permit
You may be subject to mandatory billing measures if you obtain a reunion permit (issued under the Act respecting liquor permits) authorizing the sale of alcoholic beverages during an event held on a recurring basis at a place set up to ordinarily provide, for consideration, meals for consumption on the premises. For example, a non-profit organization may be subject to the measures if it obtains a reunion permit authorizing the sale of alcoholic beverages during an evening event held each week at the same place set up for that purpose.
However, you are not subject to mandatory billing measures if you obtain such a permit as an individual hosting an informal event, such as a family party held in a multipurpose room located at a campground.
Persons that obtain a reunion permit authorizing them to serve alcoholic beverages without charge are not subject to mandatory billing measures.
