New requirements for the Attestation de Revenu Québec and the licence issued by the Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) came into effect on September 1, 2021. To learn more, read the news article on the subject.

Public bodies can choose to verify the authenticity of an Attestation de Revenu Québec issued in view of concluding a public contract or applying for authorization from the Autorité des marchés publics in order to conclude contracts requiring such authorization.

Any person or business that is not legally required to verify an Attestation (such as public bodies) can still voluntarily verify an Attestation. Doing so could help inform their choice of business partners.

You must have an Attestation (or the information it contains) on hand to voluntarily verify an Attestation (note that the Voluntary Verification of an Attestation de Revenu Québec online service is available in French only).

Important

Are you the authorized representative of a construction contractor or building service business? Are you legally required to verify the authenticity of an Attestation de Revenu Québec? If so, see the Mandatory Verification of an Attestation de Revenu Québec page.
