To obtain an access code that will identify you:
- when you file your income tax return
- when you use the Refund Info-Line
- when you use other online services

If you are filing an income tax return for the first time, you will not have received an access code. However, unless restrictions apply, you can file your income tax return using authorized software designed by a software developer for that purpose.
If you used commercial software to file last year's return, Revenu Québec will have mailed your access code with your identification label.

You may obtain your access code by calling, toll-free, 1 888 811-7362.
In this case, a voice response system will ask that you provide certain confidential information and information from your file for identification purposes.
As you will be required to provide information from last year's income tax return or notice of assessment, be sure to have the return and notice on hand when you call the service.
