This form must be completed by any salaried tradesperson (such as a hairdresser, cook, plumber or apprentice mechanic) who wishes to claim a deduction for eligible tools acquired after May 1, 2006. This form may also be used by apprentice mechanics to claim the additional deduction to which they are entitled for their eligible tools acquired in the year.
