This guide is to be used as a supplement to the Guide to Filing the RL-1 Slip (RL-1.G-V).

The 2003 version of the RL-1.G-V, which contains all the information required by most employers, is now shorter. Certain sections referring to special cases have been deleted and combined into a new publication, the Supplementary Guide to Filing the RL-1 Slip (RL-1.GC-V).
