Support Payments

Debtors and creditors of support

We have the mandate to collect support payments from any person that must make them (the debtor of support (This link will open a new window)) and pay them to the person that has the right to receive them (the creditor of support (This link will open a new window)). This section contains general information on the support-payment collection program and may be useful if you make or receive support payments.

Person that makes periodic payments to a debtor of support

If you make periodic payments to a debtor of support (as an employer, for example), you may have to make source deductions in the amount of the support payment on the payments to the debtor. Here you will find information on how to make the source deduction, payment dates and what to do when such source deductions are no longer necessary.
