Authorization and Certification – RL Slips and Information Slips

You can obtain authorization (This link will open a new window) and certification (This link will open a new window) numbers for your product. The numbers certify that the product meets our technical requirements for reproducing forms and transmitting data electronically.

You have until February 1 of each year to submit requests for authorization and certification numbers respecting your products. Requests submitted after that date will not be processed. 

Authorization process

To obtain an authorization number for your product for the reproduction of RL slips and information slips on paper, you must:

  1. register as a partner of Revenu Québec;
  2. access My Account for partners to add resource people and register the product that you intend to develop or adapt;
  3. develop or adapt the product according to the specifications given in the document Requirements for Computer-Generated Forms: RL Slips (IN-412-V);
  4. submit test cases using the partners testing environment;
  5. make any necessary adjustments to the product;
  6. use My Account for partners to submit an authorization number request.

Certification process

To obtain a certification number for the product, you must:

  1. submit test cases using the partners testing environment;
  2. validate your test cases in My Account for partners;
  3. make any necessary adjustments to the product;
  4. use My Account for partners to submit a certification number request.
Important

Once the test-case results meet our requirements, we add your product to the list of authorized software on our website, and we send you an email confirming that your software meets our requirements.
