Non-Residents

If you do not have a residence or establishment in Québec, we can issue you a temporary permit.

To apply, you must complete the Permit Application (form CA-27.1-V) and designate a Québec resident as your agent. The agent must provide you with a document attesting to the designation and indicating the agent’s address. Enclose this document with your application.

The temporary permit is valid for six months and can be renewed for the same period, provided you make a request.
