Registering your Business

Whether you are required to register your business with the Registraire des enterprises depends on its legal form. A registered business is automatically included in the enterprise register, making its existence a matter of public record.

In order to register your business in the enterprise register, you must give it a name in French pursuant to the Act respecting the legal publicity of enterprises.
