For Whom is the Demande d’attestation de Revenu Québec Service Intended?
The Demande d’attestation de Revenu Québec online service is intended for businesses that are registered for Clic Revenu – Businesses and that wish to conclude a contract for $25,000 or more with an organization such as:
- a public body subject to section 4 of the Act respecting contracting by public bodies
- a Crown corporation or another public body subject to section 7 of the Act respecting contracting by public bodies
Since January 1, 2012, all businesses that wish to conclude a construction contract for $25,000 or more with a municipal body must also use this online service.
The service is also intended for subcontractors that wish to conclude a construction work contract for $25,000 or more with a contractor that has concluded a construction work contract for $25,000 or more with one or more of the aforementioned bodies.
Note that specific regulations apply to the construction industry.
The business can check with the work provider with which it has concluded or wishes to conclude a contract to see if the organization is subject to these measures.
