Eligible Services 

Certain eligible services are included in your rent or condominium fees and others are not.

Eligible services included in your rent or condominium fees

These are home-support services (for example, upkeep of the building) included in your monthly rent or in your condominium fees. They are taken into account when calculating the amount of tax credit that may be granted to you.

Eligible services not included in your rent or condominium fees

These are occasional home-support services for which you pay each time you use them or as indicated in a contract (for example, housekeeping in an apartment or upkeep of property). They are also taken into account when calculating the amount of tax credit that may be granted to you.

Note
Eligible services not included in your rent or condominium fees must be supplied by a person other than your spouse or one of your dependants (This link will open a new window). The services may be provided by a business (for example, a self-employed person, a co-operative or a business in the social economy sector) or by a person you employ and who issues you an invoice.
