Debtor’s Recourse in Case of Disagreement with Revenu Québec

If you disagree with a decision made by us with regard to the collection of support payments, several options are open to you.

Regardless of the recourse taken, we will continue to collect and remit support payments. We may also take measures to recover the amount at issue, unless a judge orders otherwise.

A judge may make such an order only in exceptional cases. Furthermore, the judge must be satisfied that support continues to be paid until a decision has been rendered concerning the recourse taken.
