Making Instalment Payments

When are instalment payments due?

Instalment payments are due four times a year, on:

  • March 15  
  • June 15  
  • September 15  
  • December 15

Twice a year, we will send you form TPZ-1026.A-V, Instalment Payments Made by an Individual. In February, you will receive the form for your March and June remittances, and in August, the form for your September and December remittances. This form is not available on our website. To obtain a copy, contact us.

Note
If you are a farmer or a fisher, you must make your payments once a year. You will receive the form in November and you must remit the payment by December 31 of that year.

Online

You can use the Online Payment service to make your instalment payments through a participating financial institution. The following financial institutions currently offer this service:

By mail

Complete the remittance slip we sent to you (Part 2 of form TPZ-1026.A-V, Instalment Payments Made by an Individual). Mail the form, along with a cheque or money order made payable to the Minister of Revenue of Québec, to the following address:

In person at any Revenu Québec office

You can pay by cash, cheque or money order, and are not required to provide form TPZ-1026.A V. However, if you wish to submit a postdated cheque for the second instalment, you must provide Part 2 and, where applicable, Part 4 of the form.

In person at your financial institution

You must provide Parts 1 and 2 of form TPZ-1026.A-V.
