The solidarity tax credit combines the following into a single tax credit:
- the QST credit
- the credit for individuals living in northern villages
- the property tax refund
Note that the first payments of the solidarity tax credit were made in July 2011. Solidarity tax credit payments are made on a monthly basis.
You do not have to send us an RL-4 slip to receive solidarity tax credit payments, but you must be registered for direct deposit.
